Emotional Freedom Techniques integrates wisdom from the East and West.  By holding onto difficult emotions such shame, guilt, embarrassment, confusion, anger, and grief, it can be difficult to move forward.  This technique involves tapping on a series of acupressure points along with the use of some verbal cues and affirmations.  This process facilitates the uncovering of layers to get at the root of the problem, gaining greater insight into the issue while freeing trapped energy in the body in the way that acupuncture or acupressure can do. This technique is useful for trauma, as well as for day-to-day stress and perplexing issues that can keep us from moving forward.
